He is now going through a very important part of his life which is puberty or sexual maturation. I have noticed many the appearance of secondary sex characteristics which include deep voice, growth in height and growth of facial hair. He is starting to eat more and more. He is practically living in the fridge. He is also now checking girls out. That's my son!

He is almost into high school and he is trying to find who he is. He is changing a lot and he has tried many new crazy styles. Some that i strongly disapprove. I have become more of a Authoritative parent because i want my son to start learning some independence. I have a set of rules for him but i let him bend them a little sometimes.
Jeffery is now in a stage called Identity vs Isolation where he has to develop a sense of self and personal identity. Success in this stage means that you can stay true to yourself. If you lack in this stage it leads to role confusion.
